Dorothy Desbonnet, CPA - Partner

Dorothy Desbonnet joined KFP in July 2007, when it merged with the East Hampton firm of Hunting, Rose & Wingate. She had been a member of that practice for thirteen years prior to the merger, with a concentration in small business and individual taxation. An East End native, Dorothy received a BA in mathematics from Hofstra University and started her accounting career with Markowitz, Preische & Stevens in East Hampton in 1977. Relocating to New Orleans in 1977, she joined the regional firm of Duplantier, Hrapmann, Hogan & Maher, where her specialty was audit and taxation. She stayed there until returning to New York. She is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs and the AICPA.
